FAQ’s
FACIALS
-
We usually recommend coming in every 4 to 6 weeks to keep your skin healthy and glowing. Regular facials help maintain results and give us a chance to target any ongoing concerns before they build up. Think of it as routine maintenance for your skin—like a tune-up, but way more relaxing.
-
It is best not to wear makeup for 24 hours following the facial to allow your skin to absorb the benefits fully and to prevent any potential irritation.
-
Yes, they’re safe! Just be sure to let your provider know you’re expecting so we can tailor the treatment and products to keep everything pregnancy-safe.
-
Yes! You can definitely add on things like LED light therapy, cryo, or dermaplaning to boost your results. Other services like microneedling or peels are more advanced treatments on their own, so we usually recommend scheduling those separately. We will help you build the right plan based on your skin goals and what works best together.
-
Our facials can definitely help calm active breakouts and support overall skin health—but when it comes to deeper acne scars, facials alone usually aren’t enough. For those concerns, we’d likely recommend a more customized, multi-step approach that might include microneedling, chemical peels, or other advanced aesthetic treatments. We’ll work with you to create a plan that targets what you need and helps you feel confident in your skin again.
-
The products used during these facials blend organic ingredients and medical-grade skincare products. They are chosen based on skin type and concerns to provide the most effective treatment.
CRYOTHERAPY
-
Our localized cryotherapy uses a controlled stream of cold air to target specific areas of the body—like the face, joints, or muscles—to reduce inflammation, relieve pain, or improve skin tone. Unlike whole-body cryotherapy, it focuses on one area at a time for more precise results. Our treatments take about 12–15 minutes, making it a quick and effective option for targeted relief or a skin-refreshing boost.
-
Cryotherapy is safe for most people, but it’s not the right fit for everyone—especially if you have certain health conditions like serious heart issues, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or breathing problems. If you’re unsure, it’s always a good idea to check in with your doctor first.
-
It really depends on your goals and what you’re looking to get out of it. For general wellness, 2–3 sessions a week is a great place to start. If you’re dealing with chronic pain, recovering from intense workouts, or training like an athlete, you might benefit from coming in more often. We’ll help you find the right rhythm that fits your needs and lifestyle.
-
For localized cryotherapy treatments, no special prep is needed at all—you can even come in wearing makeup. Since we’re targeting specific areas, there’s no need for protective gear. Cryo facials are quick, comfortable, and make a great lunchtime pick-me-up or pre-event refresh.
-
Regular Cryotherapy sessions can offer long-term benefits such as improved muscle recovery, reduced chronic pain, enhanced skin tone, and a strengthened immune system. Moreover, consistent use improves mental health by reducing stress and improving sleep quality.
DERMAL FILLER
-
The filler treatment usually takes about 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the area and how much filler used. It’s a quick service, but we always take our time to make sure it’s done thoughtfully, safely, and with the best results in mind.
-
Yes! If you’re using hyaluronic acid fillers they can be dissolved if needed. So if you ever want to make changes, you’ve got options!
-
A quick follow-up is often a good idea to check how everything settled and to make small adjustments if needed.
-
Absolutely. Fillers pair well with treatments like Neurotoxins, lasers, and chemical peels to give you even more noticeable results.
-
Most fillers have a little lidocaine mixed in to make things more comfortable, and we can also use a numbing cream if you want. You might feel a little pinch here and there, but overall, it’s very manageable.
-
After your treatment, it’s best to take it easy for 24–48 hours. Avoid heavy exercise, too much sun, or alcohol, and follow any aftercare instructions we give you. We also like to check in around the two-week mark to see how everything has settled and integrated into the tissue. A little TLC goes a long way to getting the best results!
DERMAPLANING
-
Dermaplaning is a gentle, non-invasive treatment that uses a surgical-grade blade to exfoliate dead skin cells and remove peach fuzz (vellus hair) from the surface of your face. Think smooth, glowing skin—instantly.
-
Dermaplaning leaves your skin smoother, brighter, and more even in texture. It also helps skincare products absorb better and creates a flawless canvas for makeup.
It's one of those treatments where you'll see and feel the difference right away.
-
Not at all! It’s completely painless. Most people say it feels like a light brushing or scraping sensation on the skin. Relax, breathe, and enjoy—it's surprisingly soothing.
-
Not at all! That’s a myth. The soft, fine hair on your face will grow back at the same rate, color, and texture as before. No stubble, no surprises—just smooth skin.
-
The treatment typically takes about 30–45 minutes, and there’s no downtime. You can go right back to your day. It’s the perfect lunch break glow-up.
-
We recommend every 4–6 weeks, depending on your skin type and goals. This gives your skin enough time to regenerate between treatments.
-
There’s no real downtime, but your skin may be a little pink or sensitive right after. Stick to gentle products for the next 24–48 hours and always wear SPF.
-
Yes! Many people love how makeup glides on after dermaplaning. If your skin feels a little sensitive, you might want to wait a few hours—but you’re good to go. It’s like hitting the reset button on your makeup routine.
-
Most skin types can benefit! It's especially great if you're dealing with dullness, dry skin, uneven texture, or just want that baby-smooth glow. If you have active acne or very sensitive skin, we may recommend an alternative. Not sure? We’ll talk through it during your consultation.
-
Skip exfoliating products, retinols, or harsh skincare for a few days before your appointment. Come with a clean, makeup-free face if you can. Less is more—just let your skin show up as it is.
HEALTH COACHING
-
Before signing up for Health Coaching sessions, it’s helpful to have a clear idea of your health goals and any challenges you’ve faced. After beginning the program, staying committed to the plan and following the coach’s recommendations to achieve the best results is essential.
-
Yes! At Well Room, we offer both in-person and virtual Health Coaching sessions. Whether you prefer to visit us at the spa or connect from the comfort of home, we’ve got you covered. It’s all about what works best for you.
-
The Well Room Telehealth sessions for Health Coaching are conducted via Google Meet. You will receive the time and date of your session, along with a link to join the session. During the session, the health coach will discuss your goals, track progress, and provide guidance, just as in an in-person meeting.
-
Health Coaching can support individuals with chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and obesity by providing personalized plans that focus on lifestyle changes to manage and improve these conditions.
-
The frequency of sessions with your health coach depends on your needs and goals. Typically, clients meet with their coach weekly or bi-weekly to ensure consistent progress and support.
-
We don’t accept insurance for Health Coaching at this time, but we’re happy to provide a receipt if you’d like to check with your provider about possible reimbursement. Coverage can vary, so it’s always a good idea to reach out to them directly.
-
Many health coaches offer additional support via email or messaging between sessions. This support can include answering questions, providing motivation, and adjusting plans to help you stay on track with your goals.
IPL PHOTOFACIAL
-
IPL can help improve the look of discoloration and leftover blemishes from acne by evening out your skin tone—but it’s not ideal for deeper, textured acne scars. Think of it as great for fading spots, not smoothing dents.
-
It depends on your skin and what you're treating, but most people see the best results with 3–5 sessions spaced out over time.
-
It’s usually described as a quick snap or sting, like a rubber band. A cooling gel is applied before the treatment to make it more comfortable, and most people find it totally doable. It’s fast and well worth it for the glow.
-
Yes, and it often works even better when you do! We love pairing IPL with microneedling, peels, facials, or high-quality skincare for more comprehensive results. Think of IPL as one great tool in your skincare toolkit—we’re happy to help build a custom plan that fits your goals.
-
After your session, take it easy. Avoid direct sun, hot showers, saunas, heavy workouts, and harsh skincare (like exfoliants or retinoids) for at least 48 hours. Gentle products and SPF are your best friends while your skin settles.
-
Yes! IPL can definitely help reduce the redness, flushing, and visible blood vessels that come with rosacea. It targets the vascular issues beneath the skin’s surface, helping to calm and even out your complexion. Many clients see a noticeable improvement with regular sessions.
INFARED SAUNA
-
We recommend wearing whatever feels comfortable for sweating—just something breathable and easy to move in. Fresh towels are provided for use in the sauna, whether you'd like to wear one or lay on it. After your session, enjoy a cool, essential oil–infused towel and a complimentary Ursa Major face wipe to help you refresh and reset.
-
Hydrate both before and after. Saunas cause you to sweat and lose both fluids and electrolytes. We recommend replacing both!
Keep your skin free of heavy lotions, oils and perfumes. This will ensure your best sweat and keep the saunas in good shape for other clients.
-
Take it slow. Start with less time and increase it as your body adjusts to the heat. Take cool breaks by opening the door, or stepping outside. Leave the sauna (slowly!) if you feel dizzy, nauseous, or lightheaded.
-
Yes, using a sauna daily can be a healthy practice if you have no underlying health conditions, stay properly hydrated, limit sessions to 15–20 minutes, and pay attention to how your body responds. If you feel lightheaded or dizzy at any point, it’s important to exit the sauna immediately.
-
Our sauna has Bluetooth capability; you are welcome to listen to music or a podcast, but please be aware that the sauna rooms are not soundproof so we ask you keep these volumes low in consideration of our other clients.
-
While our saunas are relaxing, it's generally not recommended to use them during pregnancy.
-
Your sauna session is not shared with other clients, unless you opt to "add a friend" (up to 4 people total). This can be done as a booking "add on", or when you arrive. Please note that all participants will be required to fill out health intake, so please plan your timing accordingly.
-
An infrared sauna session 2-3 times a week is sufficient for general wellness and relaxation. Consider more frequent sessions, up to 4-5 times a week, for specific health benefits, such as pain relief or detoxification. The best option is to ask your provider about the optimal frequency based on your needs.
-
Infrared saunas can support weight loss by increasing heart rate and metabolism, similar to moderate exercise. The heat promotes sweating, which can lead to a temporary loss of water weight. However, infrared saunas should be used with a healthy and active lifestyle to achieve long-term weight loss.
-
While an infrared sauna is generally safe for most people, those with certain medical conditions, such as cardiovascular issues, pregnancy, or skin sensitivities, should consult with a healthcare provider before use.
-
You should wear light, comfortable clothing or a bathing suit in an infrared sauna. Some people prefer to use the sauna with a towel or robe. The tip is to wear breathable fabrics that allow your skin to sweat and breathe freely.
-
Infrared saunas work a little differently than traditional ones. Instead of just heating the air around you, they use infrared light to warm your body directly—which means the heat feels gentler but still gets deep into your tissues. This makes it easier to stay in longer and really relax. Traditional saunas rely on high heat to warm the air, which then heats your body. Both have great benefits, but a lot of people love infrared for its more comfortable, targeted approach.
-
The use of an infrared sauna can improve a person’s skin health by increasing circulation and collagen production. The heat helps to open pores and cleanse the skin, reducing the appearance of acne, fine lines, and wrinkles. Thus, taking regular sessions can improve your complexion.
IV NUTRITION
-
IV vitamin Therapy is known to deliver quick results as it bypasses the gastrointestinal tract. When vitamins and minerals are consumed in natural form or are taken as supplements, it gets broken down as they pass through the stomach and only some of the nutrients are absorbed by the body. IV drip avoids the breakdown phase by directly delivering the required dose of minerals and vitamins into the person’s bloodstream.
-
Yes! Our treatments support your body’s natural ability to burn fat by keeping you hydrated and replenishing essential nutrients.
When your body is properly nourished and hydrated, your metabolism works more efficiently, making it easier to maintain a healthy weight.
-
Absolutely. Dehydration is a big part of hangover symptoms like headaches, nausea, and fatigue. Our treatments quickly rehydrate and restore lost nutrients, helping you feel refreshed and ready to take on the day.
-
Many people don’t get enough essential vitamins and minerals through diet alone. Our therapies provide a direct boost of key nutrients, helping you feel more energized, focused, and balanced.
-
Yes! Our treatments help flush out toxins and support your body’s natural detox process, leaving you feeling lighter, refreshed, and revitalized. If detox is your main focus, we offer specific infusions and add-ons designed to support that goal—and every drip can be customized to fit your needs.
-
Definitely. If you often feel tired or sluggish, our treatments can help restore hydration and key nutrients that naturally increase energy levels, helping you feel more alert and refreshed.
-
Good hydration and the right nutrients can improve circulation and help reduce inflammation, both of which are important for keeping your heart healthy and strong.
-
Yes! Our treatments are designed to help you unwind. By replenishing nutrients that support relaxation, they can help ease stress, calm the mind, and promote an overall sense of well-being.
-
As it is an intravenous therapy you will only feel a mild discomfort while the small cannula is being placed into the vein.
-
After your quick intake consultation, you’re ready for your infusion.
You sit back in a comfortable chair in our IV area, and one of the team members inserts a small needle into a vein in your arm. You feel a small prick with the needle, but any discomfort should fade quickly, and the needle will be secured with medical tape.
We always offer complimentary mints, warm tea and blankets to drape over your body for your visit.
Your infusion may last anywhere from 40 - 120 minutes, with 60 - 90 minutes being typical for a full bag, depending on the type of IV therapy you’re getting. During your infusion, you are free to do what you like, as long as you remain in your chair and keep the arm with the IV relatively still. Many of our patients like to nap, browse the internet, or watch their favorite shows.
If you need to get up (say, to use the restroom), a member of the staff can be sure that your IV needle is stable and secure .
Once your infusion is complete, the needle is removed and you are free to go about your usual activities. There is typically no downtime, and many people report an immediate improvement in their energy levels, mood, and overall feeling of well-being after IV therapy.
The benefits of your infusion can last for several weeks, or longer in some cases.
-
Before your IV nutrition appointment, make sure to drink plenty of water, have a light meal, wear comfy clothes, and bring something to keep you entertained while you relax.
-
We offer a multitude of enhancements to your IV bag for added nutritional power, such as…
B12 Vitamins

Dexpanthenol (for inflammation)
L-Arginine (for athletic recovery)
L-Glutathione (for extra antioxidants)

L-Lysine (helps form collagen)
L-Taurine (supports your metabolism)
MIC B12 (healthy weight, energy)
Magnesium (supports sleep)
Multi-Trace Minerals (nutritional deficiencies)
NAC-Acetylcysteine (anti-inflammatory, allergy and immune support)

-
How often you get IV nutrition really depends on your personal needs and goals. For general wellness, every two to four weeks is a good place to start. If you're working on something specific—like recovery or a health condition—you might benefit from weekly sessions. Let’s discuss your goals and determine a treatment plan that suits you best.
LASER HAIR REMOVAL
-
To ensure that the laser can treat the hair follicle, you must have 2-3 cm of hair growth. Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanning products for at least two weeks before your session. Also, avoid using harsh skin products like retinoids or glycolic acids in the treatment area.
-
The number of treatments required varies based on hair thickness, the area being treated, and individual hair growth cycles. Typically, 4 to 6 sessions, spaced about 4 to 6 weeks apart, are needed for optimal results.
-
Most patients experience minimal, mild during the procedure, commonly described as a snapping sensation against their skin. Modern laser technology includes cooling mechanisms to minimize pain and protect the skin.
-
The treatment is most effective on dark hair with light skin due to the contrast between the pigment in the hair and the skin. It is less effective on light blonde, red, or gray hair, as these hair colors contain less pigment for the laser to target.
-
The treatment can be applied to almost any body part with unwanted hair. The usual treatment areas include the face, underarms, legs, bikini, back, and chest.
-
The long-term effects of Laser Hair Removal include a substantial decrease in hair growth, smoother skin, and eliminating issues like ingrown hairs and irritation associated with shaving or waxing. The treatment can lead to long-term savings in terms of time and money.
LASH LIFT & TINT
-
A lash lift is like a perm for your natural lashes—it lifts and curls them to create a more open, defined look. A tint adds color, making your lashes appear darker, fuller, and more noticeable without the need for mascara. Ideal in the summer when the heat and pool visits are more frequent!
-
Results typically last 4 to 8 weeks, depending on your natural lash cycle and aftercare. As your lashes naturally shed and regrow, you'll start to notice the lift gradually fading.
-
Not at all! When performed by a trained professional using high-quality products, lash lifts and tints are safe and gentle on your natural lashes.
-
Yes! You can definitely add on things like LED light therapy, cryo, or dermaplaning to boost your results. Other services like microneedling or peels are more advanced treatments on their own, so we usually recommend scheduling those separately. We will help you build the right plan based on your skin goals and what works best together.
-
You sure can! Though many clients find they don’t need mascara after a lift and tint, you can still wear it. Just be sure to use a gentle, non-waterproof formula and remove it carefully.
-
Unlike extensions, a lash lift and tint works with your natural lashes only—there are no false lashes or adhesives involved. It's a great option if you want low-maintenance enhancement without upkeep or fills.
-
Anyone with straight, light, or downward-pointing lashes looking for a more lifted, defined, and darker lash look—without daily curling or mascara.
-
Yes, the products we use are gentle and formulated for use near the eyes. If you have sensitivities, just let us know during your consultation so we can take extra care.
MICRONEEDLING
-
Microneedling is a skin-rejuvenating treatment that uses a device with tiny, sterile needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin. This stimulates your body’s natural healing process, boosting collagen and elastin production.
In short: it's your skin’s way of renewing itself—naturally.
-
Microneedling can improve the appearance of:
Fine lines and wrinkles
Acne scars and other scarring
Enlarged pores
Uneven skin tone and texture
Stretch marks
It’s a great option for anyone looking to smooth, brighten, and tighten their skin.
-
We apply a topical numbing cream before the treatment, so most clients feel little to no discomfort—just some light pressure or a tingling sensation.
It’s more “weird” than painful, and totally worth it.
-
You may experience some redness and sensitivity for 24–72 hours, similar to a mild sunburn. Some light peeling or flaking is also normal.
Plan for a few makeup-free days, but nothing too intense.
-
You’ll likely notice a fresh glow within the first week, with more significant improvements showing up over the next few weeks as collagen production kicks in.
This is a treatment that just keeps getting better over time.
-
It depends on your skin goals. For best results, we usually recommend a series of 3 treatments, spaced about 4–6 weeks apart. We’ll create a plan that works for you and your skin.
-
Yes! It’s safe and effective for all skin tones. If you have certain skin conditions (like active acne, eczema, or rosacea), we’ll evaluate your skin and recommend what’s best. No one-size-fits-all—your treatment will be tailored to you.
-
It’s best to avoid makeup for the first 24–48 hours while your skin is healing. After that, you’re good to go—just be sure to use clean brushes and gentle products.
Let your skin breathe a bit before jumping back in.
-
Avoid sun exposure, heat (like saunas or hot yoga), exfoliating products, and any active skincare ingredients (like retinol or AHAs) for a few days. Think gentle, calming, and hydrating for the win.
-
Skip retinols, exfoliants, and harsh products for 3–5 days beforehand. Avoid sun exposure and come with clean, makeup-free skin if possible. Keep it simple—your skin will thank you.
MORPHEUS 8
-
It really depends on your skin and your goals, but most people need 1 to 3 sessions spaced about 4–6 weeks apart for the best results. We’ll talk through a plan that makes sense for you during your consultation.
-
It’s totally manageable! We use a strong numbing cream—and sometimes a local anesthetic—to keep you comfortable during the treatment. You may feel a little pricking or heat in some spots, but most people find it very tolerable.
-
Yes, absolutely. Morpheus8 works really well alongside Botox, fillers, and even some laser treatments to boost your results. We’ll help you build a customized treatment plan that fits your skin goals.
-
In addition to signs of aging—like skin laxity, fine lines, and collagen loss—Morpheus8 is also great for improving texture, acne scarring, and enlarged pores. It’s not meant for treating hyperpigmentation, but we have other options for that too.
-
Avoid tanning or direct sun for at least two weeks beforehand, and pause on retinoids or strong active ingredients a few days before your session. Also, let your provider know about any medications or skin sensitivities you have. We want your skin in its best, calmest state before we start.
-
Yes, a few. You’ll want to avoid sun exposure, heavy workouts, or harsh skincare for a few days after. Keep the treated area moisturized, stick to gentle products, and follow the aftercare instructions we give you. The downtime’s minimal—but your skin will thank you for taking it easy.
NEUROTOXIN
-
Most people find the injections very tolerable—just a quick pinch! Usually a small ice pack helps with any minor discomfort. We can also apply a topical numbing cream to make you more comfortable.
-
There’s little to no downtime. You might experience some redness or slight swelling at the injection site, or occasionally a small bruise, but this usually goes away within a few hours to days if there is a localized bruise.
-
We will help find the right neurotoxin option, ensuring you get smooth, natural results every time.
-
For most clients, every 3–4 months is ideal to maintain results. We'll work with you to create a personalized treatment plan based on your goals.
-
There’s minimal prep needed, but for best results, we recommend avoiding alcohol, blood thinners (like aspirin or ibuprofen), and excessive caffeine for 24 hours before your appointment to help reduce the risk of bruising. That being said, it is good to come prepared knowing that anytime a needle is used on the face, there’s always a small risk of bruising because of the many tiny blood vessels under the skin. While bruising is uncommon and usually very minimal with neurotoxin treatments, it’s still a possibility—and a normal part of the process. Come with a clean face if possible—free of makeup or skincare products—and feel free to eat a light meal beforehand to stay comfortable. We'll take care of the rest.
-
Botox is a brand name for the first ‘tox’ on the market. We carry a range of options comparable to Botox, or Botulinum Type A, and will help choose the one that works best for your needs. In some cases, rotating between types may help prevent resistance over time.
-
To get the best results after your neurotoxin treatment, avoid wearing hats, lying down, exercising, or touching the treated areas for about 4–6 hours. Skip saunas, hot tubs, and intense heat for 24 hours, and hold off on facials or skin treatments for a few days. Subtle results will start to appear within a few days, with full effects typically visible by two weeks. We'll provide you with tailored aftercare instructions to ensure your results are smooth, natural, and long-lasting.
-
Absolutely! Neurotoxin pairs well with peels, sculptra, fillers and other aesthetic services and would appropriately space out treatments that include facial massage. We’ll help you build a treatment plan that fits your goals and addresses multiple concerns with comprehensive results.
-
Individuals who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have certain neurological conditions should avoid neurotoxin treatments. We will review your medical history to ensure you are a good candidate and the treatment will be customized to your goals.
-
To prepare for a neurotoxin treatment, refrain from having blood-thinning medications such as aspirin and ibuprofen. Additionally, avoid alcohol consumption for 24 hours before the procedure to prevent bruising.
-
At Well Room, our goal is the same as yours: to deliver natural-looking, refreshed results. While the neurotoxins temporarily relax your muscles, this approach simply softens lines and smooths your skin without creating a “frozen” look.
-
Neurotoxin treatments can typically be repeated every three to four months. Regular treatment can help prevent wrinkle formation and maintain results over time.
-
Most patients experience minimal discomfort during neurotoxin treatments. The injections are done with a very fine needle, and the procedure is usually quick. However, we can provide ice packs or a topical anesthetic to reduce any discomfort, although this is usually not necessary.
ORGANIC SPRAY TANS
-
We proudly provide a tanning solution that is naturally derived and Vegan, PETA certified, fragrance, paraben, and erythrulose free. It is derived from beets (!), but don’t worry , no funky orange color is anywhere in sight!
-
We recommend getting your (regular) spray tan done 24 - 48 hours in advance of your event.
-
Shower, shave and exfoliate the night before, and ideally NOT immediately before.
Exfoliating the skin ensures a flawless tan outcome. Keep you skin free of heavy lotions and oils so that the solution can adhere to your skin.
-
Wear dark loose-fitting clothing and loose shoes or flip-flops to your appointment.
Do NOT wear jeans, leggings, or fitted clothing - anything that clings will ruin the integrity of the tan and will rub off the solution before it has a chance to properly dry and soak in.
-
Usually 7-10 days as long as you are not excessively showering, shaving, swimming or exfoliating. It also depends one the shade you chose and proper preparation.
-
Your tan is the LAST stop!
Complete ALL other services at least 24 hours before your tan, such as manicures, pedicures, facials, massages, eyelashes, etc.
We offer a barrier cream to put on nails and areas where we don’t want to solution to accumulate.
Waxing is recommended at least 48 hours before your tan if possible.
-
Yes! Our formula is pregnancy and breast-feeding safe.
-
Our formula may discolor your clothing, but is washes out with a regular cleaning. It should not permanently stain your clothing, but we still recommend wearing dark-colored loose fitting clothing to your appointment.
-
The Organic Spray Tan can be customized to achieve your desired shade, ranging from a light sun-kissed look to a deeper tan.
-
It is best to exfoliate your skin the night before your spray tan treatment. Shave or wax at least 24 hours before the appointment to allow your pores to close.
-
You should avoid swimming, showering, or sweating for at least 8-10 hours after the application to allow the tan to develop fully. After this period, you can shower, but it is best to avoid chlorine and salt water as they can shorten the effect of the tan.
-
You can get an Organic Spray Tan as often as you like. However, allowing your skin to naturally exfoliate the previous tan is recommended before applying a new one, which usually takes about a week.
PEMF/RED LIGHT
-
Two to three Red Light Therapy sessions per week are recommended for optimal results. However, it still depends on the individual’s treatment goals, so it is best to consult your provider about how frequently you should receive the treatment to get the best outcome.
-
The use of red light therapy is considered safe for all skin types. It is a non-invasive treatment that does not cause damage to the skin’s surface, making it suitable for a wide range of individuals.
-
Red Light Therapy can work alongside other skin treatments, such as microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and microneedling, to enhance overall results. Always consult your provider to create a tailored treatment plan.
-
A typical Red Light Therapy session lasts between 20 to 30 minutes. Treatment durations will vary based on the affected area and the individual’s treatment plan.
-
Red light therapy is especially effective for treating acne, reducing fine lines and wrinkles, alleviating pain and inflammation, and improving skin texture and tone. It is also used to promote faster wound healing and reduce the appearance of scars.
-
While professional Red Light Therapy sessions offer higher intensity and more targeted treatment, personal devices are available for home use. These devices can be effective for maintenance between professional treatments. However, following the manufacturer’s instructions and consulting with your provider is vital to ensure safe and effective use.
VI PEEL
-
A VI Peel is a medical-grade chemical peel designed to improve tone, texture, discoloration and overall clarity. It exfoliates the top layers to treat concerns like acne, fine lines, and dark spots. It’s a great way to refresh and rejuvenate your complexion when it’s feeling dull, tired and showing signs of stress.
-
VI Peels are strong enough to deliver real results but gentle enough for all skin types—even sensitive skin: all skin types can benefit from a VI peel. We will ensure you are treated with the one most targeted to your skin needs. They're formulated with a unique blend of ingredients that minimize irritation while still giving your skin a serious glow.
-
These peels target a wide range of concerns, including:
Acne and acne scars
Fine lines and wrinkles
Sun damage and pigmentation
Uneven texture
Enlarged pores
Melasma
Basically, if your skin’s been acting up, this peel can help.
-
The whole process takes around 30 to 45 minutes, and you’re good to go right after. It’s a quick appointment with big skin benefits.
-
Peeling usually starts around day 2 or 3 and lasts up to a week. Don’t worry—we’ll send you home with everything you need to take care of your skin during the process and the glow at the end is worth it!
-
You might feel a little tingling or warmth during the application, but most clients find it very manageable. We will be sure to check in on your comfort level during the treatment.
-
Not much! You’ll want to avoid big events during the peeling phase, but most people go about their usual routines. Just plan for a few days of shedding—then hello, fresh skin.
-
Some people see results after just one, but if you have deeper concerns, a series of 3–4 treatments spaced a few weeks apart works best. We’ll help you figure out what makes sense for your skin goals.
-
We recommend skipping makeup during the peeling phase so your skin can fully heal. Give your skin a break—it’s doing important work under there!
-
Yes! VI Peels are designed to be safe and effective for all skin tones, which makes them a great option for just about anyone. Inclusive, effective, and trusted—what’s not to love?
-
We recommend avoiding exfoliants, retinols, and active skincare products (like AHAs, BHAs, or vitamin C) for about 3–5 days before your appointment to minimize sensitivity. Try to avoid sun exposure and tanning as well. Come with clean, makeup-free skin—and we’ll take it from there!
